Godzilla is an amazing character inspired by tragedy. Though there have been many adaptations, my favorite depiction of him is in the Legendary movie and TV productions. Though it is far different than how he was interpreted when he was created, I found comfort in this adaptation as he designed to look like a giant animal rather than a monster. And changes how I feel about him: from Earth’s destroyer to Earth’s protector.
